Most products are sold loose, by the kilo. Prices change often, and sales multiply before holidays. The same product sells 250 grams at a time and 2 kilos at a time. BenimPOS handles weighed sales, price updates and profit tracking to fit this.
Weigh the loose nuts and dried fruit you sell on the scale. When you scan the barcode printed by the scale, the product and weight appear on the sales screen automatically and the amount is calculated by weight.
Find the product whose price changed in the list and enter the new price; the sales screen sells at the new price right away. If you have branches, choose which branches the change applies to.
For products sold by the kilo, you need to see the margin product by product. Daily revenue, profit and the breakdown by payment type are ready every evening; product and product group reports show you what makes money.
On busy days, open a second computer or tablet as a till. Open a new basket for the customer waiting in line; all tills work with the same stock.
Enter the expiry date and quantity of every batch of Turkish delight, dried fruit and packaged products in the Expiry / Batches section of the product card. Batches of the same product with different dates appear separately, so you don't forget products nearing expiry on the shelf.
