Below are the most common questions about the sales screen, with short answers. Where the answer depends on the app, choose the app you use (web, desktop, mobile) at the top of the page. For a step-by-step guide, see How do I make a sale?

New sales screen (v4.0)

The sales screen changed after the update. Can I go back to the old screen?

No, you can't go back to the old interface or an older version. Everything the old screen did is on the new screen too; only the places have changed. The table below shows where the most searched-for actions are now.

On mobile, when you tap a line on the receipt, quantity, unit price, discount and note open in the same window. Return, discount, misc. amount and price check are in the tool chips above the receipt.

The text on the sales screen is too small and the receipt area is too narrow. Can I make them bigger?

The screen layout is fixed; you can't move the buttons, but you can adjust the text and area sizes.

In the browser, zoom in with Ctrl + + and zoom out with Ctrl + -. If some buttons don't show on a small screen, setting the zoom to 80–90% helps. You can change the size of the quick product cards under Options › Product cards (Auto / Small / Medium / Large). For a dark screen, turn on Dark Theme on the My Profile › Other Settings tab.

  • Text size: on the Settings › Profile settings page, press A+ Larger / A− Smaller on the Text size card, then Restart now. The setting applies to all screens.
  • Receipt area: on the sales screen, choose Default, Wide or Wider under Devices and options › APPEARANCE › Receipt area.
  • Quick product cards: choose Small / Medium / Large with Product cards in the same section.
  • Dark theme: from the Appearance card on the Profile settings page.

On mobile, the text size follows your phone's own text size setting.

The quick product lists (Main list and Lists 1–4) can't be removed; you can only rename them.

How do I change a product's price during a sale? Where is the checkbox that updates the price permanently?

You can change the price in a sale in two ways: for that receipt only, or permanently on the product card as well.

  • For this sale only: After scanning the product, click the price to the right of the quantity on the line in the basket and type the new price. The price on the product card doesn't change.
  • Permanently: Click the % icon on the same line, turn on Permanently update the product's sale price in the window that opens and press Apply. After the sale, the product's Price 1 also becomes the new price.
  • For this sale only: Click the Price cell of the line on the receipt and type the new price.
  • Permanently: Double-click the product name on the line; the product card opens. Change the price and save; when the card closes, the price on the receipt is updated too.

Tap the line on the receipt. Type the new price in the UNIT PRICE field; to save it to the product card too, turn on the Permanently update the price on the product card switch and tap Update.

For staff to change prices, the Can edit product prices during a sale permission must be on in their staff card. To change the price of a saved sale, use the sale details; to change the prices of many products at once, use a bulk price increase by group or Excel.

How do I add a note (serial number, size, description) to a product in a sale?

Click the % icon on the product line in the basket; the window that opens has a note field next to the discount fields. Type the note and press Apply. The same window also shows the product's recent sales.

Right-click the product line on the receipt and choose Add Product Note. The note is added next to the product name.

Tap the line on the receipt, type in the NOTE field and tap Update.

For a note about the whole receipt (license plate, address, etc.), use the note / phone / other details section on the sales screen.

How do I search for a product by name? I used to search with *.

Type a few letters of the product name in the barcode box; matching products are listed. To search by name only, press the Search button next to the box or F6. You can type the words in any order (e.g. "bread rye"); this smart search replaces the old * shortcut search.

Press the magnifier button next to the barcode box or F6 (Find product). Type part of the name, stock code or barcode; add the product by double-clicking the line or with Enter. To add several products in a row, turn on Multiple add.

Tap the search button next to the barcode field, type the product name and tap Search; tap the product in the results to add it.

Details: Searching by product name and price check during a sale.

How do I sell 5 of a product? How do I remove a product from the basket?

In the barcode box, type the quantity and an asterisk first, then scan the barcode: 5* and the barcode. With a quick product you can also type 5* first and then tap the product. To change the quantity of a product already in the basket, use − / + on the line or type in the quantity field. To delete the line, use the bin icon on its right.

Where do I see my previous sale? The "Sale complete" card stays on the screen.

On the sales screen, Options › Recent sales lists the sales of the last week; Open takes you to the details.

Open it from the Recent sales card on the home page, or from Sale details on the card that appears right after the sale. For older sales, use Reports › Sales Report.

On the Menu › Sales Report page, choose the date and tap List.

The print and share buttons on the card shown after a sale can't be turned off; when you scan a new product, the card disappears and a new sale starts. If you don't want receipts printed by mistake, check that automatic printing is turned off.

Can I see a product's purchase price or the basket's profit on the sales screen?

The total cost and profit of the basket aren't shown on the sales screen. After the sale, you can see the profit in the sale details and in reports (Show profit).

If you turn on the Purchase switch in the Find product (F6) window, the list also shows the products' purchase prices.

You decide whether staff can see purchase prices in the staff permissions.

Can I remove buttons such as Cash or Card, or move them?

No. The payment buttons and the layout of the sales screen are fixed. Any extra payment methods you use (meal card, bank transfer) are listed under the Other button.

Discounts, prices and promotions

How do I give a discount?

There are two kinds of discount: a line discount on a single product and a receipt discount on the whole receipt. For both you can choose a percentage (%) or an amount (₺). The type goes back to the default on every sale, and there is no setting to change the default.

Line discount: the % icon on the line. Receipt discount: the Discount box below the basket.

Line discount: the % (Disc.) button on the line; ready-made rates from 5% to 50% are also available. Receipt discount: the Discount box below the receipt and the type selector next to it.

Receipt discount: Discount in the tool chips. Line discount: tap the line and use the PRODUCT DISCOUNT fields.

If you entered a discount rate on the customer card, it is applied automatically when you select that customer. Details: Discounts during a sale.

Can I run promotions? (Discounted price, buy 1 get 1 free, buy 3 pay for 2)

There is currently no ready-made "buy x pay for y" promotion module. To get similar results:

  • Discounted price: Enter the discounted price as the product's Price 2 and choose Price 2 as the price level in the sale (Price 1 / Price 2), or apply a discount on the line.
  • Free / gift product: Add the product to the receipt and apply a 100% discount on the line; the product is deducted from stock and its amount becomes 0.
  • Bulk price (buy 3 pay for 2, pack price, etc.): Use a sub-product definition to link the pack product to the single product with a multiplier, and set up a bulk purchase discount (web).

A receipt discount can't exclude promotional products.

Can I choose VAT included / excluded on the sales screen?

No. Sale prices are treated as VAT included; the product's VAT rate is set on the product card, and the VAT breakdown in reports is calculated from it.

Misc. amount

Can I give a miscellaneous item a name? Can I change its VAT rate?

No. The name and VAT rate of the misc. amount can't be changed on the sales screen. To show what the customer bought, you can add a note to the miscellaneous line (see the note question above).

If you need to sell without a barcode at a different VAT rate (e.g. 1% or 10%), create a product card such as "Misc 1%", enter its VAT and, if needed, its purchase price, and add it to a quick product list; in the sale, tap this card and change the price on the line. If you use a fiscal cash register, the product's VAT rate must match the department on the device.

Details: Misc. amount and selling products without a barcode.

Is profit calculated on miscellaneous sales?

No. A misc. amount isn't a product card, so it has no purchase price: it is added to turnover and payment totals, no stock is deducted and no profit is calculated. To see it in the product report, turn on Include miscellaneous sales under More Options in the report. For products whose profit you want to see, create a product card with a purchase price. There is no feature for selling at a fixed profit percentage.

Payment

How do I take a split payment (cash + card)?

Press "Split", enter the Cash and Card amounts (Fill remaining fills in the rest in one click) and press Complete sale.

With F4 (Split), enter the payment type and amount on each line; add lines with + Cash / + Card / + Other payment. When REMAINING is 0, press Complete sale.

Tap Split and enter the amounts.

If you haven't selected a customer, the payments must add up to the receipt total. To put the remainder on the customer's account, select the customer first.

The customer is paying more than the receipt total (also paying off an old debt). How do I take the extra?

The payment taken in a sale can't exceed the receipt total; that's why you see the "payment amount can't be greater than the receipt amount" warning. Complete the sale first, then add the payment for the old debt to the customer separately:

Options › Add payment to customer, or Add Payment on the customer card.
Devices and options › Add payment to customer, or the Take Payment tab on the customer card.

Receive payment on the customer card.

How do I sell with a meal card, bank transfer or cash on delivery?

First set up the payment type on the Payment Types page in the web panel. On the sales screen, press Other at the far right of the payment buttons and choose the type; it can also be used in a split payment. If you save the sale as cash or card, it won't appear under that payment type in the report.

I saved a sale with the wrong payment type (e.g. cash instead of card). Can I fix it?

Yes. Open the sale details and change the payment type; from the same place you can also change the customer, the date and the staff member who made the sale. When changing a cash sale to on account, also select the customer; the amount is added to the customer's debt. Details: Editing a sale and cancelling a receipt.

Returns, cancellations and dates

Where is return mode on the new screen?

Below the basket, next to the Discount box, is the Return mode button. When it is on, a red RETURN label appears in the total box; scan the products and choose Cash refund (F8), Card refund (F9) or On account refund (F10). If you get an "out of stock" warning while making a return, check the Do not sell when out of stock setting on the My Profile › Stock & Product Settings page.

The Return mode switch below the receipt ("Return on" when it is on). The payment buttons change to Cash refund, Card refund and On account refund; stock isn't checked in return mode.

Tap Return in the tool chips on the sales screen; the total turns into a red RETURN TOTAL.

Staff without return permission create a return request instead of a return. Details: How do I process a return?.

I saved a sale as a return by mistake. Can I turn it into a sale?

A return receipt can't be turned into a sale. Cancel the wrong return receipt with Cancel Receipt in the sale details, then make a new sale with the correct products.

How do I cancel a receipt? Where do I see cancelled and deleted sales?

Open the sale details and press Cancel Receipt; the products go back into stock and the amount is removed from reports. You can list cancelled receipts with Cancelled sales under More Options in the Historical Report (on desktop, the Sales Report). Products that staff removed from a receipt and receipts they deleted completely appear in the Staff Activity Report (web and mobile). A cancelled receipt can't be restored; if needed, enter the sale again with the same products.

Can I delete my test sales in bulk?

Yes, in the web panel, with "Permanently delete all my sales up to a date" on the My Profile › Delete My Data tab. You confirm it with an SMS code sent to your registered phone, and it can't be undone. See Deleting data in bulk.

Is there a waste / spoilage (damaged product) feature?

There is no separate waste module. For damaged or lost products, use stock deduction on the product card; if you save the deduction as "no effect", it doesn't affect the till or earnings. See Stock entry and stock deduction.

Sales after midnight were recorded on the next day. Can I move them to the previous day?

The day changes at 00:00 midnight; the end-of-day time can't be changed. You can change the date of saved sales one by one in the sale details; there is no bulk date shift. To choose a past date before the sale, see Sales on a past date. To run a report for specific hours, use the time fields in the Historical Report.

Receipts, quotes and orders

Can I get an A4 printout, a quote or a proforma invoice?

Press Print A4 in the window that opens after the sale; for older sales, use the Print & Send menu in the sale details. For a quote, add the products to the basket and, without completing the sale, look in the Print menu at the top of the sales screen; if you don't see the quote option in the menu, message our WhatsApp support line.

The desktop app sends the receipt to the default printer in Windows; for A4 printouts and quotes, use the web panel (sales are synced).

After the sale, tap the printer icon and choose A4 document.

There is no proforma invoice document. For a gift receipt without prices, use an Exchange receipt. For fields such as VAT, logo or customer balance on the receipt, see Printing receipts and receipt templates.

Can I send the receipt to the customer via WhatsApp?

After the sale, press Share, or in the sale details use Print & Send › Send via WhatsApp.

The desktop app doesn't have this feature; open the same sale in the web panel or the mobile app and send it from there.

Printer icon › Share receipt link. For a PDF: Thermal receipt › Share PDF.

WhatsApp may compress the image you send; if it can't be read, share the receipt link (e-receipt). See Sending a receipt via WhatsApp.

Can I take an order and turn it into a sale later? How does cash on delivery work?

Yes, with the order module. After turning the module on, save the order on the sales screen with Other › Save as order; on delivery, open the order, convert it into a sale and choose the payment type. Stock is deducted when the order becomes a sale. The order module is available on web and mobile, not on desktop. There is no separate module for purchase orders to suppliers. See Order module.
