Notifications and announcements
Keep track of notifications about actions such as price increases, cancellations and stock reductions, and BenimPOS announcements, in the web panel.
The top bar of the web panel has two separate notification areas: Notifications (mobile phone icon) for important actions in your business, and Announcements (bell icon) for news from BenimPOS.
Notifications
Pressing the mobile phone icon opens the Notifications page; if there are unread notifications, a number appears on the icon. Till actions that need attention are listed here:
- Product price increases (products whose market price is higher than your price)
- Removing items from a receipt, closing the sales screen
- Reducing product stock, return requests
- Entering credit debt, adding payments, creating customer cards
Filter by Transaction type and product name / barcode and press List. On price increase notifications, the Set price to ₺X button updates the product's sale price to the current market price in one click.
When logged in as staff, only price increase notifications are shown; to change the price from the notification, the staff member needs the relevant product permission.
Announcements
The bell icon shows BenimPOS announcements about new features and maintenance; the last 3 announcements are in the drop-down list, and all of them are in All announcements. Unread announcements are marked "Unread".
